Children’s Liturgy

Please Note: Preparations to re-start our Children’s Liturgy Ministry have been temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 Crisis.

Preparations to recommence our Children’s Liturgy group are well underway. Due to our obligation to comply with Diocesan Safeguarding procedure and practice, we are unable to start this week as we had hoped. However, we will be good to go within the next few weeks and we encourage all parents to register their P1-P4 children. Forms can be found in the front porch or downloaded from the parish website. Watch this space for further updates.

“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” Romans 10:17

Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a wonderful way for your child to begin to encounter God through his Word at an age-appropriate level. Here they will come to know the story of Jesus, His life and His message by engaging with the Gospel stories in a way which is both reverent and relevant to their own life experience. They will encounter a Jesus who wants to be their friend and walk with them through all of life’s ups and downs. Their relationship with God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, will deepen and they will grow in understanding, faith and love.

“Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105

Children’s Liturgy will recommence once we are compliant with all Diocesan Safeguarding requirements. It is anticipated that this will be in late March or early April. All children wishing to attend need to be registered. The registration form can be downloaded by clicking the link below. Completed forms should be returned to the Parish Office.
