Volunteer Children’s Liturgy Co-ordinator Required

Posted on

The Children’s Liturgy has now finished for the summer and will resume again in September. Joanne Sheehan, who has co-ordinated the Children’s Liturgy group for many years has decided to step down. We would like to thank Joanne for her wonderful service to the children of this parish and to the wider parish community over those years, “Well done good and faithful servant.” (Matt. 25:21)

Joanne’s retirement from the children’s Liturgy means we are looking for a coordinator to assist us from September, as well as new volunteers to lead or assist with delivering the Gospel to our primary school aged children during the 12 noon mass.

Don’t worry if you have no experience of Children’s Liturgy as full training will be given by the Living Church Office to all those who are interested.

This would be a fulfilling experience for all those seeking to work with children in the future or who have worked with them in the past. It is also a great opportunity for our any of our young parishioners who are taking the JPII award.

If you would like to become involved, please contact the Parish Office for further details.
